Jaymee Soni Lead Writer, Researcher, and President of Learning Axis
My education is in economics. My first job was in economic consulting for private industry, and then I worked on public policy for the government while I earned my Masters. Through the years, I came to specialize in Information Economics and Policy, which included studying Education, an information product that is vital to the knowledge economy of the Information Age. In 1998, I became a mom, and turned my research and analytical skills to trying to figure out how to be the best parent that I could be. Now with three wonderful boys, I find I'm still a work in progress, but there are some things that I've learned through the years that I think are worth passing along from one parent to another. As parents, we're always looking for ways to enrich our children's education. The good news - there's such a wealth of information out there to help us. The bad news - sometimes it just seems impossible to find what you need. My goal is to help you find information you can use, when you need it, and guide you to resources that will help you act on that knowledge.
